Peter brings over 40 years of experience in electrical infrastructure, with a career rooted in the design, construction, and management of hydroelectric and power-intensive facilities across British Columbia. A pioneer in the small hydro industry since 1983, Peter has played a key role in the development of numerous independent power projects throughout the province.
Notably, Peter served as client engineer and electrical designer for the McNair Creek Hydroelectric Project, where he was responsible for all electrical systems and project oversight from inception to commissioning. McNair Creek was the only IPP hydro project in BC to be completed on time and under budget, a testament to Peter’s disciplined project execution and deep technical expertise.
In addition to his hydro work, Peter has been directly involved in the design, construction, and ownership of multiple data centre projects. His experience spans site evaluation, facility design, power integration, and operational optimization — giving him a unique understanding of the critical infrastructure needs of data centres and high-performance computing environments.
At PowerGrid, Peter leads the development and execution of site projects, with a focus on technical due diligence, infrastructure design, and permitting. His dual experience in both power systems and digital infrastructure ensures that PowerGrid’s sites are engineered from the ground up for energy reliability, scalability, and long-term success.

Zaid leads the evaluation and coordination of energy infrastructure across PowerGrid's project portfolio. With a deep background in utility operations, he brings over 15 years of experience in planning, procurement, and infrastructure resilience — including working with BC Hydro and large-scale industrial clients. Zaid’s expertise in grid interconnection, renewable energy integration, and long-term power planning ensures that each PowerGrid site is optimized for scalable, sustainable data centre operations.
